Important Scuba Equipment Warranty Information
Scuba Suppliers is an authorized dealer for all the products we sell. ALL products ordered from Scuba Suppliers come with a full manufacturer's warranty.
As you shop for dive gear be cautious. Please be sure your reseller is
an authorized dealer of the product(s) you are purchasing. If they are not,
your product may NOT come with a valid manufacturer's warranty.
Be a cautious consumer! If you are not certain if your buying from an
authorized reseller, contact the manufacturer directly and ask.
Below is a complete list of manufacturers and their phone numbers for
each manufacturer Scuba Suppliers is authorized as a reseller.

ALERT #1 Warning: Unauthorized Dealers May Cost You Money
Unfortunately, not every business that advertises itself as selling Dive Rite products is a legitimate Dive Rite dealer. Why is this important?
If you purchase what you think are Dive Rite products from other than authorized dealers, there is no way we can guarantee:
- That the items you are spending your good money on have not been
previously used…
- That something other than Dive Rite parts have been substituted for
the original…
- That important serial number information has not been removed from the product in an effort to prevent us from tracking unauthorized product distribution…
- That what you are getting is evenly remotely a Dive Rite product!
("Bait and switch" is a common tactic among shady retailers.)
It's important you understand that, for these reasons, Dive Rite cannot provide warranty coverage for items purchased from other than authorized dealers. To help you avoid such purchases, we maintain a list of businesses we are aware of that are not authorized Dive Rite dealers, even though they may advertise our products.
YOU MEAN THESE FOLKS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED DEALERS?
Recently, Leisure Pro, a large, New York-based mail-order business, published a catalog and website featuring the very same product images as you can find in Dive Rite's catalog and here on our website. Does this mean Leisure Pro is an authorized Dive Rite dealer? Guess again…
Not only is Leisure Pro NOT an authorized Dive Rite dealer, it used Dive Rite's copyrighted product images without our knowledge or permission.
Obviously, Leisure Pro is not an authorized Dive Rite dealer. Any products you purchase from them are not eligible for Dive Rite warranty protection.
UNAUTHORIZED DIVE RITE RESELLERS
The businesses listed below are not authorized Dive Rite dealers. Dive Rite items purchased through such resellers do not qualify for warranty coverage.

Please note that the businesses whose names appear above do not represent the total list of unauthorized Dive Rite resellers -- only those of which we are currently aware. If you are aware of a business you suspect is not an authorized Dive Rite dealer, please let us know.
AS A FINAL MEANS of protecting yourself, before you purchase a Dive Rite light system, dive computer or BC, be certain that:
- An up-to-date owner's manual accompanies the product.
- Tucked in this owner's manual (or otherwise included with the product) is an official Dive Rite warranty registration card.
- On this card appears a pre-written or pre-stamped product serial
number.
- This serial number matches the one appearing on the product you are
buying (dive light serial numbers appear on the battery pack; BC serial
numbers inside the shoulder strap; computer serial numbers on the
underside of the computer, under the wrist strap).
If the dealer from whom you are purchasing a Dive Rite product offers to "register the warranty for you," be sure to check product serial numbers as described above before allowing him or her to do so. Copy these serial numbers down for your own records. Without valid product serial numbers, you will not be eligible for warranty coverage.

Consumer Alert!
It is very important that you purchase SCUBAPRO UWATEC equipment from an authorized dealer only. SCUBAPRO UWATEC has established over 700 authorized dealers in the United States. We feel that consumers will be served best when purchasing SCUBAPRO UWATEC life support equipment through our authorized dealer network. These dealers can provide the proper training and instruction on the use of SCUBAPRO UWATEC equipment.
SCUBAPRO UWATEC offers a FREE Preferred Parts for Life Program to all regulator owners (only offered through the purchase at an authorized dealer) which provides replacement parts for your SCUBAPRO Regulator, at no charge. We provide this service to help insure that your equipment is maintained to SCUBAPRO UWATEC's high standards. Since this equipment provides life support while under water, any sub-standard maintenance could be dangerous. Only the dealers in our network are authorized to perform this service and offer this program.
If you purchase your equipment outside our authorized dealer network, you will not be eligible to participate in this program. Neither SCUBAPRO UWATEC nor our athorized dealers will be responsible to repair your regulator under our Preferred Parts for Life Program. You will also not be contacted regarding post-sale notices regarding as upgrades or warranty information.
Also if the product is purchased outside the SCUBAPRO UWATEC dealer network in the United States, US Territories or Canada, the consumer wll have to pay the full annual service costs for parts. All regulators purchased within the United States, US Territories or Canada, and through SCUBAPRO UWATEC Authorized dealers, are eligible for the FREE Preferred Parts for Life Program.
Additionally, if you have purchased a selected* UWATEC computer from an authorized dealer you are eligible for The Batteries for Life Program. When the batteries require replacement, simply return you computer to SCUBAPRO UWATEC. We will calibrate the computer and replace the batteries, free of charge. (a $500 value). Purchases from unauthorized dealers, will be required to pay full retail price for replacement and service.

Please be aware that Leisure Pro, New York is not, nor has ever been, an authorized SCUBAPRO UWATEC dealer.
Leisure Pro obtains our products through "gray-market" sources and not from our factory. We have no way of assuring the ultimate consumer that any item purchased via this source has not been tampered with or modified. Nor can we assume that our product has been properly tested and inspected. As such, SCUBAPRO UWATEC does not extend any warranties on its products purchased from Leisure Pro or any other "unauthorized”
dealer.
SCUBAPRO UWATEC USA does not authorize sales via the internet nor via mail order. We maintain a minimum pricing policy that our authorized dealers adhere to. Although some of our dealers advertise our equipment, once again they are not authorized to make direct sales through the internet, but rather, authorized dealers are only authorized to sell SCUBAPRO UWATEC USA equipment over the counter at their retail location.
All online companies that sell and make direct purchases of our product, like Leisure Pro, are not an authorized SCUBAPRO UWATEC dealer and SCUBAPRO UWATEC equipment obtained through channels other than SCUBAPRO UWATEC Authorized Dealers does not carry the SCUBAPRO UWATEC Limited Lifetime/Limited Warranty. If you so choose to purchase SCUBAPRO UWATEC products online, the warranty will be voided.
if you still decide to purchased SCUBAPRO UWATEC equipment from anywhere other than an Authorized SCUBAPRO UWATEC Dealership, we recommend that it be inspected by an Authorized SCUBAPRO UWATEC Repair Center to be sure that it is operating and performing to SCUBAPRO UWATEC specifications.
Leisure Pro may offer their own warranty on the equipment that you are considering, however, Leisure Pro, like many other online companies that sell our product, has not been trained by SCUBAPRO UWATEC nor is certified to perform maintenance on SCUBAPRO UWATEC or UWATEC equipment
